AED Maintenance Programs/Medical Oversight

AED Maintenance Programs

A CARDIAC SCIENCE TRAINED TECHNICIAN will come on site and perform the annual recommended service maintenance per our User Manual on all of the client’s Cardiac Science Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). The technician will also replace any disposables that have expired or are due to expire prior to the next routine service visit, with Guaranteed Cardiac Science Parts; this would include adult and pediatric electrodes, batteries and ready kits *at no additional cost.*

Equipment and accessory expiration dates are stored and tracked in our database system.

Annual Service Visits also include Post-Event Service. If an AED is deployed, the Technician will secure the AED, download the rescue data, replace any disposables used and make the AED “rescue ready”. A report will be done for the client by a Cardiologist retained by Cardiac Canada. This maintenance program includes and provides:

  • PEACE OF MIND ENSURING RESCUE READINESS
  • ANNUAL SITE VISITS
  • EASY ANNUAL BUDGETING
  • TRACKING COMPLIANCE (pad and battery expiry dates)
  • REPLACEMENT PARTS BEFORE EXPIRY (PADS AND BATTERIES)
  • PROTOCOL CHANGE UPDATES
  • POST-EVENT SERVICE INCLUDING MEDICAL OVERSIGHT AND REPORTING

As a value add for our Annual Service Customers:
Typically, if the AED requires any software updates, Customers are required to download the updates onto their AEDs. For Annual Service Customers, Cardiac Canada provides onsite support for those customers who would rather have our Technicians perform the updates (note there are first aid protocol changes every 5-years that may or may-not require updates for AEDs)

If this program is of interest to your company please request a quote and we will contact you right away to discuss details.

This covers AED deployments anywhere in Canada.
