The Disaster Preparedness Kit was designed to give you the basics for your family’s personal preparedness plan.
This kit features over 85 essential items such as a flashlight, a multi-function knife, waterproof matches, and an emergency blankets which will help support you during the first 72 hours of an emergency. A first-aid kit with bandages and additional supplies is also included so that you and your family are prepared in case of an emergency or simply need to patch a minor injury. In the face of a hazardous environment there are face masks and leather palm gloves to protect your face and skin. Lastly a role of duct tape will prove to be an all-around tool which is always useful to have in many situations.
All the items are carried in a nylon backpack for easy transportation and has extra room to add other essentials for your comfort and survival.
Additionally this kit includes a 10 liter water container to help stay hydrated and 4 – 3600 calorie food bars.
These bars are approved by the U.S. Coast Guard and provide nourishment for 3 day/72 hours per individual.
Sanitization/Personal Protection
2 – Red Cross Biohazard Bag – Isolate hazardous items. This measures 30.5 cm x 30.5 cm and is puncture resistant.
